Armenia’s Chief of Police Valeriy Osipyan met today with representatives of the country’s legislature, as reported the news service of the Police of Armenia.

Greeting the guests, Valeriy Osipyan attached importance to the cooperation between the Police and the legislature and expressed certainty that such meetings will be frequent.

During the meeting, the parties talked about necessary legislative amendments with respect to certain types of crimes and the need for the public’s involvement in the fight against offences, as well as road traffic safety issues.

Valeriy Osipyan also touched upon the reforms to be implemented by the Police and particularly talked about the activities of the to-be-created operational management center.
