I don’t believe something like that can happen. This is what former deputy of the National Assembly of Armenia, army general Seyran Saroyan told journalists today, touching upon Mikael Minasyan’s article in which the latter states that third President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan is going to be arrested.

When asked if he will protest, if Serzh Sargsyan is arrested, taking into account the fact that he had declared that Armenians need to pray to God to have Serzh Sargsyan become Prime Minister of Armenia, Saroyan said this time he will pray again to have him released.

Saroyan reminded that during his last interview, he had said he would like to see Nikol Pashinyan lead the country’s foreign policy the way Serzh Sargsyan led foreign policy. He added that he’ll talk about this during his upcoming meeting with Nikol Pashinyan as well.
