YEREVAN. —Signatures are collecting in Yerevan against the ratification of the Istanbul Convention.

One of the protesters, Babken Harutyunyan, urges citizens to join them and demonstrate their civil standing.

“We are not going to change our national values ... We do not need to be taught how to raise our children,” Harutyunyan said. He noted that their struggle will be permanent, adding that they require the Armenian authorities to withdraw the signatures placed under this convention.
