The US President Donald Trump’s intention to buy Greenland from Denmark is not the Kremlin’s business, Russia does not engage in such international shopping and would not like to interfere in relations between Washington and Copenhagen, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

According to him, this is not our business and we are not engaged in such international shopping, RIA Novosti reported.

The clarifying question of whether the Kremlin considers this Trump’s proposal to be a possible manifestation of the aggravation of the struggle for Arctic resources, the presidential spokesman left without comment, but noted that Russia continues to work to assert its rights to the Arctic shelf.
