Residents of Jermuk town have gathered in the local square and are screaming “Amulsar Without Mine”.

They are waiting for Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan to meet with them in Jermuk.

“Today is the most important day. Today the people have to finally prove to Pashinyan that the people won’t change their mind and that the people are against exploitation of the gold mine. Jermuk must remain a resort town,” one of the residents said.

Currently, Nikol Pashinyan is visiting families in Jermuk, talking to them and presenting the problems with exploitation of the Amulsar gold mine. The residents are mainly against exploitation of the gold mine.
