If it turns out that our air, our water, our grass will be polluted, our soil will be polluted, the Amulsar mine cannot not work. The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on Friday stated this during his meeting with Jermuk residents at the town square.

The Jermuk inhabitants in attendance applauded this announcement.

“But if it turns out that the only problem is that a rooftop appears from the window, that’s a different situation that needs to be discussed, Pashinyan added.

“Today we have evidence that cattle are not feeding from that water,” a Jermuk resident stated.

“I’ve said at [Facebook] livestream, too, that they [specialists] will come, inspect it,” Nikol Pashinyan responded.
