YEREVAN. – Discussion of education problems with international partners will help us in implementing the planned reforms, Armenia’s Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Arayik Harutyunyan told reporters on Tuesday.

He said the ministry is closely working with UNESCO, as evidenced by its participation in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Education organized in Beijing.

 “This is a good platform for new cooperation and for the development of existing formats. We expressed readiness for the meeting, which is being held in Yerevan today. Here we will discuss the ways to solve problems in the field of education worldwide. This will also help us in improving the effectiveness of the reforms,” he emphasized.

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, together with the UNESCO Institute for Statistics and the Yerevan office of the UN Children's Fund are holding the 6th meeting of the Technical Cooperation Group (TCG) on the development of the Sustainable Development Goal 4: Education 2030.
