The European Court of Human Rights today announced decisions on 15 complaints from Azerbaijan against 13 political and public activists, Turan reported.

The complaints were related to administrative arrests and fines imposed for participating in peaceful protests in 2006-2015.

The applicants raised a question about the violation of their rights to the inadmissibility of torture, liberty, and security of person, fair trial, freedom of expression, freedom of association, etc.

The ECHR found violations of the applicants' rights and ruled that compensations should be paid to citizens.
