The delegation of the Belarusian side of the Inter-Parliamentary Committee of the National Assemblies of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Belarus on Friday visited Tsitserankaberd Armenian Genocide Memorial under the leadership of co-chairman of the Committee, Vice-Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Belarus Boleslaw Pirstuk.

The Belarusian parliamentarians laid flowers near the Eternal Flame and respected the memory of the Holy Martyrs with a moment of silence. They also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute where they were introduced to documents certifying the Armenian Genocide, viewed samples and left notes in the Memory Book of Honorable Guests.

The same day, the parliamentarians of both countries visited TUMO Center for Creative Technologies where they were introduced to the history of the Center, toured the halls and watched a film devoted to the Center.

Afterwards, Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of Armenia Vahe Enfiajyan and Boleslaw Pirstuk signed records on activities that had been jointly carried out and a memorandum of cooperation related to inter-parliamentary cooperation and cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Enfiajyan and Pirstuk attached importance to the cooperation between Belarus and Armenia and voiced hope that the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies will open soon in Minsk with the support of Armenian parliamentarians.
