US Ambassador Lynne Tracy on Tuesday paid a visit to the National Bureau of Expertise of Armenia.

At the meeting, the American diplomat was presented the results of the successful implementation of the component that is aimed at the development of forensic expertise along the lines of an law enforcement cooperation program—and based on an agreement between the governments of Armenia and the US on drug control and law enforcement cooperation, as well as the past track and achievements of the National Bureau of Expertise, and some other details.

Subsequently, Ambassador Tracy toured the bureau.

At the end of the talk, Argam Hovsepyan, Director of the National Bureau of Expertise, stressed that they laud the role and importance of the US Government, the US Embassy in Armenia, and the aforementioned law enforcement cooperation program in the establishment of the largest leading forensic expertise agency in Armenia—and for the benefit of human rights protection and effective fight against crime.

Also, the parties underscored the need to ensure the continuity of productive cooperation.
