YEREVAN. – The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, on Wednesday attended the launch of the EDU2WORK (from education to work) program.

Avinyan expressed the hope that the successful implementation of this program will contribute to surmounting several challenges in the labor market of Armenia.

He noted that the EDU2WORK program is fully in line with the Armenian government’s “Work Armenia” initiative’s objectives, which focus on the development of fact-based policies in employment.

Also, the deputy PM touched upon the fact that promoting the development of soft skills is a component of the EDU2WORK program. In this connection, he stressed that the development of soft skills is also on the agenda of the Armenian government and is part of its “Work Armenia” initiative.
