A signpost of friendship between the communities of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and France was unveiled Wednesday at the Freedom Fighters’ Park in Stepanakert, the capital city of Artsakh.

The unveiling of this signpost was conducted by President of the National Assembly (NA) of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic), Ashot Ghoulyan, who is also Chairman of the Artsakh-France Friendship Circle, and by French NA member Guy Teissier, who is also Chairman of the France-Artsakh Friendship Circle.

Ghoulyan expressed the hope that Artsakh’s other French sister cities will complement this signpost in a very short time.

“I congratulate on the occasion of another symbol of Artsakh-France cooperation,” the speaker of the Artsakh parliament added, “And I wish longevity to our friendship.”

The event was held within the framework of a delegation of French parliamentarians’ visit to Artsakh.
