The new agreement will increase cooperation with Order of Malta in the areas of food, health, humanitarian missions, and peacekeeping, said Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Avet Adonts at the Armenia parliament on Wednesday.

According to him, the deal also implies ensuring the powers and inviolability of activities in the territory of Armenia in accordance with the 1961 Convention on Diplomatic Service.

“The agreement signed in Rome on April 26, 2018 regulates relations between Armenia and the Order of Malta and will enter into force on the 30th day after publication of ratification,” Adonts said.
