The International Military Sports Council and the Ministry of Defense of Armenia today held a conference that featured speeches by Minister of Defense of Armenia Davit Tonoyan, President of the European Federation of the International Military Sports Council, Colonel Dirk Schwede and Secretary General of the Council Momby Koyta.

As reported the Ministry of Defense, Armenia’s defense minister greeted the members of the delegations of 29 countries and attached importance to the activities of the International Military Sports Council. According to him, in this period, Armenian athletes have not only achieved victories at the championships of the Council, but have also become friends with the athletes of many countries.

The President of the European Federation of the International Military Sports Council granted awards to Head of the Physical Readiness and Sport Unit of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Colonel Aram Grigoryan, Arman Davtyan and several servicemen. At the end of the meeting, Davit Tonoyan awarded the leaders of the International Military Sports Council.

During the conference, the attendees will consider the organization’s challenges and perspectives and specify various issues related to the Council’s agenda, management and strategy, as well as the issues on organizing the championship to be held on October 18-27 in the Chinese region of Wuhan.
