Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan on Friday received newly appointed Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, Ambassador Andrea Wiktorin and received the copy of her Letters of Credence.

As reported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Minister Mnatsakanyan congratulated the ambassador on assuming the important and responsible mission and emphasized that he is confident that she will contribute to further deepening and enhancement of the EU-Armenia partnership through her diplomatic service.

The foreign minister presented the Armenian government’s pretentious agenda for reforms and underscored the importance of the EU’s support to the implementation of those reforms.

The interlocutors discussed a broad range of issues related to the EU-Armenia partnership agenda and particularly touched upon the upcoming reciprocal high-level visits, the EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement and the roadmap for implementation. They also highlighted the importance of taking steps aimed at promoting human contacts.
