Facebook is preparing to release a device for connecting to a TV: a new development will make it accessible for viewing online content, Fox Business reported. 

The device is expected to be announced this fall, The Verge reported.

However, unlike competitors' products, a Facebook device may have a camera and microphones connected to the platform’s video service. Due to this, the device will be able to use funny additional materials, such as augmented reality, face effects, and interactive stories.

There was information that Facebook, in this regard, proposed a collaboration between Netflix and Disney to add their content to the new device, but these companies have not yet commented on the information that has appeared.
