The water level at Lake Sevan is 3cm higher than last year. The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on Saturday noted about this at the Fish Festival in Sevan town.

“[Lake] Sevan has thanked us today,” he said. “According to this morning’s data, the [water] level of [Lake] Sevan has increased by another centimeter, and we have a 3cm increase against the same period last year. Now, the Lake Sevan reserves are more—by about 90 million cubic meters, and on this occasion we should applaud [Lake] Sevan.”

Also, Pashinyan said he is very happy that the practice of festivals is developing in Armenia.

Furthermore, the PM stated that there will be an unprecedented scene, as the fireworks of the Fish Festival will be conducted tonight from Lake Sevan.

“The culture of preparing fish [dishes] in Sevan is conquering new heights with each passing year,” Nikol Pashinyan added, in particular.
