YEREVAN. – A 2.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Bavra village in Armenia’s north, near the border with Georgia.

The quake measured 3-4 magnitude at the epicenter and was felt in Shirak province.

This is the second earthquake recorded near Bavra during this week. The previous measured  6-7 points at the epicenter and was felt in the Shirak, Lori, Tavush, Aragatsotn and Armavir Provinces of Armenia as well as in the capital city Yerevan.
