Gyumri, and indeed all of Armenia, must free themselves from temporary huts, Armenia PM told reporters in Vanadzor on Monday.

According to him, the issue needs to be addressed, but the solutions may not be simple and not everyone will like it.

The fact that people live in temporary huts does not mean that the state owes anything, he said adding there are cases when people for some reason sold the apartments they received or have a house, but live in a temporary hut in Gyumri.

If the budget goes further as well as this year, we’ll think about the beginning of social construction, Pashinyan noted.
