YEREVAN. – From now on, Prime Minister’s award ceremony, entitled “The Hero of Our Time,” will be one of the main festivities each year on September 21, on the Independence Day anniversary in Armenia. Hovhannes Movsisyan, Director at the Center of Public Relations and Information at the Office of the Prime Minister, noted this at a press conference on Wednesday.

In his words, the meaning behind this award is that each and every person can become a hero, and everything is created by individual effort.

“The hopeful, improved person is going to be the hero,” Movsisyan said. “We have 45 heroes right now, all of whom are award nominees at the moment. There will be 13 awards; twelve will be given by various officials, and one main award will be given by the Prime Minister at the end of the event.”

As per Movsisyan, this award ceremony will be accompanied by symphonic music, and it will be broadcast on television.

Also, Hovhannes Movsisyan presented the statue of this award, and it reads: “And you are that one person.”
