At the initiative of the Armenian National Committee of Australia, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Zohrab Mnatsakanyan today met with the delegation led by Deputy of the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament of Australia Tim Wilson, reports the news service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

Welcoming the delegation’s visit to Armenia, Minister Mnatsakanyan stated that Armenia attaches great importance to the strengthening of relations with Australia and the deepening of partnership.

During the meeting, Armenia’s foreign minister presented Armenia’s foreign policy priorities and particularly emphasized Armenia’s ongoing efforts to advance the agenda for prevention of genocides and crimes against humanity.

At the end of the meeting, Zohrab Mnatsakanyan expressed his gratitude to the parliamentary delegation of Australia for being consistent with recognition of the Armenian Genocide and the peaceful settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
