In my view, our biggest issue today is the economic development and economic empowerment of the Republic of Armenia. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Sunday said this at a press conference in Los Angeles, and when asked what will be his main message to the Armenians of Los Angeles.

“The key message will be the formulation of the practical issue of the pan-Armenian concept,” he said. “In my view, our biggest issue today is the economic development and economic empowerment of the Republic of Armenia because all the issues that are on our national agenda are issues to be resolved by a strong state; and by saying a strong state, one must understand an economically developed state.

“If we call it an economic revolution, those who wish to call it otherwise, we are not against [it] at all. But we believe it’s very important at this phase we be able to turn the dynamics we have in the Republic of Armenia’s economy into an economic momentum that will enable to raise Armenia to a new plane.”
