Upon the proposal of the Council of Europe, Human Rights Defender of Armenia Arman Tatoyan has joined an awareness-raising campaign ahead of the World Day Against the Death Penalty as a remarkable person in the field of human rights protection in Europe.
In his message, Arman Tatoyan stressed that strong societies never kill, but help with resocialization and the restoration of justice.
Since 2007, October 10th has been celebrated as World Day Against the Death Penalty.
