YEREVAN. – Armenian deputy Arman Babajanyan, who has recently left Bright Armenia party, will found a new political party soon.

He will be reportedly joined by Hmayak Hovhannysan, the head of the Union of Armenian Political Analysts. The new party will focus on minority rights, especially LGBT rights, Politik.am website reported. The party will do its best to have the Istanbul Convention ratified.

Babajanyan dismissed the reports, the website writes. However, in an interview with A1plus.am the politician said he would make a statement on creation of a party shortly.
