YEREVAN. – Any asymmetry raises serious issues in the fight against the circulation of anticontrafact, so it is important to harmonize the relevant laws of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union, including in intellectual property protection. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan at today's Anticontrafact 2019 forum in Yerevan.

According to him, the topics to be discussed at this event are urgent for everyone, but they are especially urgent for Armenia, given its geographical and political peculiarities.

He noted that the settlement of these issues is a guarantee that the export potential of the member states of the Union will be realized. "That's why it's important to develop models that can be implemented," Grigoryan added.

As reported earlier, on November 12-13, Yerevan is hosting the 7th International Forum "Anticontrafact 2019". It is dedicated to the fight against the illegal circulation of industrial products, including the protection of intellectual property rights.
