YEREVAN. – The criminal case pending in the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Armenia, whereby Arsen Babayan, the former Deputy Chief of Staff of the National Assembly, was charged on October 22, was ordered by the prosecution to act within a short period of time on the investigative and judicial actions regarding Babayan, as a result of which it would be possible to discuss the existence the grounds for the continuation of custody as a precautionary measure for him. He added that, on November 12, a decision was made to commute the pretrial measure of custody imposed against the accused Arsen Babayan, and to apply personal guarantee as a precautionary measure.
