YEREVAN. – Armenia's accession to the EAEU has removed a number of technical barriers and contributed to the intensification of mutual trade between Yerevan and Moscow. Russia's Deputy Minister of Economic Development Aleksey Khersontsev, who is also Head of the Federal Accreditation Service of Russia, said this in a conversation with reporters in Yerevan on November 12.

According to him, the cooperation between Armenia and Russia should be highly assessed. "The EEU has been operating not so long," he said. "And if there are gaps, they will be eliminated, which will also contribute to the development of economic cooperation between Russia and Armenia."

As reported earlier, on November 12-13, Yerevan is hosting the 7th International Forum "Anticontrafact 2019". It is dedicated to the fight against the illegal circulation of industrial products, including the protection of intellectual property rights.
