I plan to pay an official visit to the Russian Federation in 2020. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said as he responded to deputies’ questions at the National Assembly today.

According to him, there is already an initial agreement according to which he will pay an official visit to the Russian Federation in 2020, and President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will pay an official visit to Armenia in the second half of 2020 or the first half of 2021.

Touching upon his relations with President of Russia Vladimir Putin, Nikol Pashinyan particularly said there is unprecedented dynamics due to the results of his meeting and conversations with the President of Russia in 2018.

“Answers to questions are given over time. Last summer, I said Russia and Armenia want to raise the relations to a new level and convey new quality to them. It is safe to say that this is in progress,” Pashinyan emphasized.
