YEREVAN. – In the modern world, bank cards are losing their relevance, and today transactions are made via mobile phones. This is what Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the Armenian government session today.

"Circulation of cash should not be reduced, but eliminated," he said. "It is also important in the context of the fight against corruption."

For his part, State Revenue Committee Chairman Davit Ananyan said that they are working with the Central Bank of Armenia to ensure that the country’s banks are ready to lower their service fees and, in some cases, to eliminate them, thereby facilitating non-cash circulation.
