New airlines will appear in the Armenian aviation market, Armenian Civil Aviation Committee chair Tatevik Revazian said at the government’s meeting on Thursday.

According to her, there are eight new confirmed directions.

“But before the opening of the summer season, we plan that there will be more than ten directions. The Russian airline Azimut decided to open a new flight to Kaluga, and has already contacted us. Flights will begin on December 14,” she said.

According to her, the Ryan Air airline has already given the go-ahead in four directions, but plans to add three more. From January it will begin to carry out two flights in the direction of Germany and Italy.
