Economic growth of 4.9% is forecasted in Armenia in 2020, said Armenian economy minister Tigran Khachatryan at the parliament during the discussion of the draft state budget for 2020 on Thursday.

According to him, it is expected that growth in industry will be 5%, in agriculture - 0.5%, in services - 6%. Exports will be up to 10.9%, he added. The main share of exports will be in the processing industry.

The authorities should implement such programs that are designed to ensure long-term competitiveness of the economy and sustainable economic growth, the minister added.
