The macroeconomic forecasts of the Armenian government for the year 2020 are rather close to those of the Central Bank. This is what Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Arthur Javadyan declared during a discussion on the draft of the 2020 State Budget at the National Assembly today.

According to him, the Central Bank will take more actions to move towards more industrial sectors. “Due to the relatively high growth of two sectors, we predict a 4.9% growth in 2020,” Javadyan explained.

He stated that the real growth of consumption will be exclusively conditioned by the growth of private consumption and added that exports will exceed real imports.
