Turkey views the US government’s demand to refuse to purchase Russia’s S-400s as a violation of its sovereign rights. This is what President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared after his meeting with US President Donald Trump, reports RIA Novosti.

“We don’t think it’s right to completely refuse to purchase S-400s. We can’t completely refuse the S-400s and take the Patriots. This is our sovereign right,” Erdogan told journalists on board a plane from Washington.

He added that, overall, his visit to the US was positive and that dialogue is required to settle the disagreements.
