YEREVAN. - The political majority of Armenia does not fulfill its pre-election promises. Gevorg Gorgisyan, secretary of the National Assembly’s (NA) opposition Bright Armenia faction, said this at the November 15 NA sitting discussing the draft state budget for 2020.

According to him, he has always criticized the authorities for failing to fulfill their promises, or doing the opposite. The MP is convinced that not only are these funds not enough, but there are programs that will not be financed in 2020. "No funding has been provided for programs aimed at training academics in the field of Armenology and teaching Armenian at foreign universities," Gorgisyan explained. "And this is in the case when our neighbors (...) continue to appropriate our cultural values."
