There are jobs in Armenia, but there are no workers. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said during a discussion on the draft of the 2020 State Budget in the National Assembly today.

According to him, people in Armenia talk about unemployment, but there are jobs and nobody to do them. “Over the past two weeks, I have attended the openings of two industrial enterprises, and the owners assured me that they have more than 1,000 job vacancies. Today, people are trying to find workers and can’t find them,” the Prime Minister said, adding that all construction firms in the country are “drowning” with orders. Moreover, Pashinyan emphasized that new jobs would be created next year.
