One of the two supporters of the Islamic State extremists, who were expelled from Turkey, was detained at Frankfurt airport.

The woman is suspected of being a member of a foreign terrorist organization, DW reports. In 2014 she moved to Syria, a region which was under control of jihadists. In 2015 she married one of the militants and moved to Iraq where they lived in a house provided by ISIS, the prosecutors believe. Her husband was fighting for jihadists, while she was receiving $100 per month. Later on the family came back to Syria where in early 2019 they were detained by Kurds.

Chancellor Angela Merkel assured that the law enforcers would do everything so that so that supporters of jihadists expelled from Turkey do not pose any danger

According to Hurriyet newspaper, Turkey plans to expel 959 people suspected of links to ISIS, including 30 nationals of European countries.
