YEREVAN. – As far as I know, the Armenian Police 6th General Directorate on Fight against Organized Crime is conducting inspections at Eloyan Architects company, and Avetik Eloyan is going to apply to the relevant authorities regarding the applications of former Director of the Real Estate Cadaster, Sarhat Petrosyan. Speaking to reporters on November 18, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan said this in response to a question whether his adviser Avetik Eloyan was involved in the investigation of violations.

Asked whether the deputy prime minister has anything to do with the company's large orders, including the projects by Swiss Armenian businessman Vartan Sirmakes, Avinyan said he had nothing to do with it.

In response to the question what would happen if it was found out that the company was carrying out these orders, the deputy prime minister emphasized: "If there is a conflict of interest, it must be brought to justice in accordance with the law."

In response to the comment that Petrosyan spoke about the existence of a clan system in public administration, Avinyan responded: "I don't think that what Petrosyan says is true."

Former Director of the State Committee of Real Estate Cadaster, Sarhat Petrosyan, had said that Deputy PM Tigran Avinyan’s aviser Avetik Eloyan, who has not been involved in any activity in Armenia in the past, has a large project organization and coordinates huge investment projects and his company is involved in these processes.
