Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has provided details on his talks with President of Russia Vladimir Putin over the natural gas tariffs. This is what Pashinyan talked about during a meeting with Russian journalists visiting Yerevan as part of a media tour, reports Sputnik-Armenia.

According to the Prime Minister, the talks with Putin over the natural gas tariffs for Armenia were general, but the parties considered the fact that the price has to be such that “the dynamics of economic development of the country continues”. Pashinyan mentioned that he had reached an agreement with Putin.

“I am very happy to mention that the price of natural gas for Armenia won’t go up, at least until spring. This is good news,” Pashinyan stated, adding that Armenia hopes the issue is solved in the long run.
