Nikolay Kvochkin, 32, is suspected of murdering Armenian businessman Andranik Muradyan in Novosibirsk and has been detained.

The suspect had been remotely under arrest for two months by the Central District Court since July 1 of this year. Investigators believe Kvochkin could be hiding with his relatives in Kazakhstan and had declared an international search. “During an operation conducted on November 17, the citizen was detained in the rented apartment in Kemerovo where he was hiding from police officers. The preliminary investigation showed that a dispute had arisen between the victim and the suspect due to financial problems,” reports the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
