The bill on criminalization of the criminal subculture in Armenia is vulnerable in all regards. This is what deputy of Prosperous Armenia Party Iveta Tonoyan said during briefings at the National Assembly today.

According to her, the political party is seriously concerned about the bill and this is exactly why it voted against it. Tonoyan stated that criminals and offenders must be held liable for their acts, and those acts must be specific.

Bright Armenia Party and Prosperous Armenia Party didn’t support the My Step Alliance during the vote for the bill on criminalization of the criminal subculture which is proposed by the government and, in essence, envisages holding “criminal authorities” liable only for their special status in the criminal hierarchy.
