Trade and economic cooperation is important component of relations between Armenia and Italy, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said when speaking at the Institute for International Political Studies in Italy.

“Italy is Armenia’s second largest trade and economic partner among EU countries, and we recorded a 14 % increase in bilateral trade this year,” he said.

Pashinyan said that two Italian companies opened in Armenia this month, but added that Armenia wants to see more.

“Invest in Armenia. We have very good new opportunity and we guarantees security and success.  The producers will also have access to the Russian market and the market of the Eurasian Economic Union,” Pashinyan said.
