Minister of Emergency Situations of Armenia Felix Tsolakyan today received the delegation led by Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation Nikolai Grechushkin, reports the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.

Greeting the guests, Felix Tsolakyan attached importance to and highly appreciated the activities of the Armenian-Russian Humanitarian Response Center and the cooperation with the Russian colleagues.

The interlocutors discussed a wide range of issues related to the Armenian-Russian cooperation in the field of emergency situations and exchanged views on further enhancement of the Armenian-Russian Humanitarian Response Center and the organizing of the provision of humanitarian aid.

The minister stated that this year, the Government of Armenia allocated about AMD 170,000,000 to raise the level of protection of the building of the Center.

Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of Russia for Civil Defense and Elimination of Consequences of Emergency Situations and Natural Disasters Nikolai Grechushkin stated that Russia has continued technical rearmament of the Center and that this will be ongoing.

Expressing gratitude for the cordial reception, the deputy minister voiced hope that the Armenian-Russian cooperation would continue to grow dynamically within the framework of the Armenian-Russian Humanitarian Response Center and in the field of emergency situations in general.
