Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and his wife, Anna Hakobyan today arrived in Rome.

At Ciampino International Airport, the Prime Minister was greeted by representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Italy Stefano Zanini and Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the Holy See Karen Nazaryan.

In Rome, the Prime Minister will pay a visit to the Italian Senate where he will have a meeting with President of the Senate Maria Elisabetta Casellati.

On November 22, Nikol Pashinyan will visit the Italian Trade Agency (ICE) (adjunct to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Ministry of Economic Development) where he will have a meeting with President of the ICE Carlo Ferro.

The Prime Minister will give an interview to the Italian Corriere della Sera Daily.

Afterwards, Nikol Pashinyan and Anna Hakobyan will leave for the St. Nicholas Armenian Catholic Church and the Levonian Armenian Seminary where they will be greeted by leader of the Armenian Catholics of Armenia, Georgia, Russia and Eastern Europe, Archbishop Rafael Minasian and Archimandrite Nareg Namoian.

The Prime Minister will also pay a visit to Chigi Palace where he will have personal talks with President of the Council of Ministers of Italy Giuseppe Conte.

The Prime Minister’s official visit to Italy kicked off on November 20 in Venice, and from there Pashinyan left for Milan where he had several meetings.
