YEREVAN. -The incident with the Azerbaijani during Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s meeting with the Armenian community in Milan was another attempt of public provocation. Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, today told this to reporters.

"By the way, such provocations are very frequent," he said. "We can say that with all the delegations of the Republic of Armenia."

Grigoryan sees no deep security issues in connection with the incident. "The meeting was open, Armenians were invited, but it was not so that only Armenians could enter," he said. “But there were, naturally, inspections at the open meeting from the security point of view, but they were not individually inspected, and I see no deep problem here. Attendance at the event was, naturally, manageable, there was some control in passing and participating, but there was no serious physical danger there. It was just an open meeting; they were not going through general inspections.”

And asked if they had looked into this person representing himself as an “Azerbaijani blogger," Grigoryan answered: "This person participated in the dispersal of the demonstrations in Baku, he also worked against the Azerbaijani society, everything is clear about it at the maximum."
