YEREVAN. – The trial of the case involving Levon Yeranosyan, Former Deputy Chief of Police of Armenia, which resumed today at the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, has adjourned.

The court today examined evidence of the case related to Yeranosyan.

The videotapes were to be viewed at this hearing, but this was postponed because there was a technical problem.

Levon Yeranosyan's lawyer asked the court to provide as large a screen as possible so that those present at the hearing could see the video recordings.

The court noted that they would apply to the judicial department to bring a monitor the required size.

The next hearing is set for January 15, 2020.

The former deputy chief of police is accused of using sound grenades in Yerevan on April 16 and 22 in the days of the revolution in 2018, and acting beyond his powers.
