During their session in Bishkek, the chiefs of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Defense and the Security Councils of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) discussed the drafts of the documents, the signing of which is scheduled to take place during the meeting of the heads of CSTO member states this Thursday, reports RIA Novosti, citing the press service of the Staff of the Security Council of Russia.

“In particular, the draft documents concern improvement of global mutual influence and cooperation for the strengthening of global and regional security, the program of events dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the amendments to the regulatory legal acts of the CSTO, the development of ties of the enterprises and organizations of defense-industrial complexes for integration, as well as the organizing and implementation of joint research and experimental-constructor works,” the press release reads.

The participants of the session also discussed the military-political situation in the CSTO regions, explored topics related to resistance to crimes in the field of information technologies, as well as the priority areas of their activities during the upcoming chairmanship of the Russian Federation in the CSTO.
