YEREVAN. – The government of Armenia made a decision at its session today to consider urgent the need for the purchase of technical supervision services on the Lanjik-Gyumri motorway to be rebuilt in the framework of the North-South Road Corridor Program.

The government allowed the aforementioned technical supervision services to be acquired through a single-person procurement procedure from ARD Engineering LLC.

The cost of paying for these services is 180 million drams.

The reasoning for this decision states, in particular, that the use of other forms of procurement is unacceptable in terms of time constraints, as it will lead to the suspension of the construction work, and therefore to the delay of the whole project.

It adds that this decision will ensure the continuity of the construction work and the normal course of the project.
