RINA is the internet of the future, said Philippe Poux, chair of the e-Hayt Foundation at the presentation of RINArmenia, organized by the French Embassy in Armenia on Monday.

According to him, to test the RINA program, an area was needed where the impossible could be made possible.

“Having repeatedly visited Armenia, I discovered that everything is possible here. Therefore, I came to the conclusion that Armenia is territory where it is possible to introduce and develop RINA,” he said adding that the RINA network will be tested and activated in Armenia, and the country will become a center of research in the RINA field.

The French Ambassador to Armenia, Jonathan Lacôte, noted that the above program will demonstrate the dynamics of the development of new technologies in Armenia.

“A lot is said about the revolution that took place in the country, but along with this, the presence of a technological revolution in Armenia can be stated,” he said adding that France will assist Armenia in this regard. The ambassador expressed hope that next year the Federal University in Toulouse will transfer a supercomputer to Armenia, so that the country will become the only one in the region where there are similar technologies.
