Moscow is interested in the implementation of the agreements on confidence-building measures for settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and it is important to avoid the rhetoric. This is what Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov declared during his working visit to Baku where he will be holding talks with his Azerbaijani counterpart on Tuesday, reports RIA Novosti.

“We are interested in the implementation of the agreements on confidence-building measures for regulation of humanitarian ties (including relations with the mass media) that were reached during the summit in Vienna and reaffirmed during the ministerial meeting in Moscow. The agreements are being gradually implemented, and I hope this week’s meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia allows us to synthesize those processes,” Lavrov said during his meeting with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
