YEREVAN. – The crisis of the Constitutional Court will be resolved. Armenia National Assembly vice-speaker Alen Simonyan said this in a conversation with journalists today.

"This issue is a matter of time and will be resolved," he said, referring to a draft law on sending the serving Constitutional Court judges to early retirement. “It is a difference of tactics, work style, so that the Republic of Armenia will not be shaken, the judicial system will not be shaken (…); it can be said that it is one of the most problematic systems.

We try to resolve the issue in this way so that there will be no talk that the government is putting pressure on a system that has served the former government for many years.

Everything is done so that everything be within the legal framework and free from shocks. But let no one doubt that the matter will be resolved."
